01Do I need to be an admin to start a game?
No — /game works for anyone in the group. Only
/extend (adding time to registration) and /begin
(starting early) are restricted to the host or group admins.
02The bot says it doesn't have admin rights — what do I do?
Make it a group admin with Pin, Delete, and Ban permissions.
It checks automatically the moment someone tries /game, and will
tell you exactly which permission is still missing rather than failing silently.
03Can I change my mind after picking a target or casting a vote?
No. Every choice — a night target, a vote, an item purchase — is final the instant you submit it. That's deliberate: no second-guessing, no walking anything back.
04What happens if I don't respond to a night prompt in time?
Nothing happens on your behalf — your role simply doesn't act that night. If everyone who has a power that night has already acted, the round moves on early instead of sitting through the rest of the timer.
05I was eliminated — is that it for me?
Almost. You can send one last message any time afterward — no time limit, no need to reply to anything specific — and it's shared with the group the moment you write it.
06How is my role decided?
Randomly, the moment the lobby locks. Bigger lobbies unlock rarer roles automatically as the player count grows — nobody chooses their part.
07Is voting really private?
Yes — every vote is cast by DM. The group only sees each name land in the chat as votes come in; it never shows who's still deciding or what they're leaning toward.
08How do points and the store work?
Winning, surviving, or simply playing all earn points. Spend
them in /store on charms like Protection or Veritaserum — prices are
steep on purpose, so buying one is a real decision.
09What's the difference between the leaderboard and the Hall of Fame?
The leaderboard resets on the 1st of every month for a fresh race. The Hall of Fame archives every past month's champions permanently. Your personal career stats live separately from both and never reset at all.
10Can I play in a language other than English?
Yes — /language sets your own personal language in
DMs, and group admins can set a language for the whole group independently.
11Can I choose which pronoun the bot uses for me?
Yes — /gender, once. It's used whenever your role
gets revealed in-game, whether that's a morning report, a vote result, or a
Veritaserum reveal.
12Can two games run in the same group at once?
No — one lobby or game per group at a time. The current one
has to finish (or be cancelled by not reaching the minimum players) before a
new /game can open.
